In the first 40DOP cell group meeting, we all shared about 3 problems of life without a purpose.
Tiresome – We are living in a routine manner without a goal. Day-in-day-out, we are doing the same things, from waking up in the morning, till evening going to bed. The next day, the same routine repeats again.
Unfullfilling – Goals are always higher, or we don’t what we are heading, goalless. As students, we study to achieve higher educational levels. For those who are working, we try to work harder to get more promotions. For businessmen, we aim to achieve bigger deals all the time. The life is never fulfilled.
Uncontrollable – So many things in life we can’t or have no control over them. Natural disasters, weather, deceases and many others happen at anytime in any part of the world what we don’t expect.
Therefore, if we know God’s purpose of our life, then it would be relatively easier for us to focus, though the way may not be smooth-sailing. Our life would be simpler as we have a better idea of our path where we are heading. Moreover, we would be motivated to work towards our goals when we know the purpose of our life. Once we have all these, then we are to pace ourselves to the way to eternity.
